Spurs to appeal over Younes Kaboul red card against Chelsea

Tottenham will appeal against Younes Kaboul’s red card in their 4-0 Premier League defeat by Chelsea on Saturday.

The defender was sent off for a collision with Blues striker Samuel Eto’o to concede a penalty just before the hour mark.

Eden Hazard converted from the spot to make it 2-0 to the Blues, who moved seven points clear in the table.

Unless the appeal is successful, Kaboul will miss Sunday’s north London derby against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
