It seems popular actress Yvonne Nelson is also feeling the electric power frustration Ghanaians are made to put up with as she took to twitter on Tuesday to vent her anger.
She described the current power situation as “unbearable.”
“So freaking annoying now. This on and off biz (business), its unbearable… I know it’s affecting a lot of businesses. God help us,” the leggy actress said in separate tweets.
Yvonne Nelson is one of the celebrities to complain about the economic conditions under the current John Mahama-led government. She gets support for her complaints and vice versa.
She revisited the issue of economic condition in her Tuesday tweets saying: “Jesus gives hope. Our leaders!!! God our leaders. So much is going on in this country!!! The average citizen suffers with so much ignorance. Citizens are afraid to speak.
“The system is upside down. No transparency! No truth! At least if the people knew the issues… Pray hardest when it is hardest to pray. Strong people stand up for themselves but stronger people stand up for others.”
It would be recalled that fellow actress Lydia Forson recently vented her anger on facebook for not enjoying electric power for close to four days and asked the President to give her a call for a solution. But indications were that he didn’t call her. Within the same week, the President went ahead to form the ministry of power and allegedly dismissed the boss of the Electricity Corporation of Ghana (ECG). What is not clear is whether the power will be stable after these changes.
