The search for Ghana’s High School Rapper 2014 will go down at the Aviation Social Centre during this year’s Sprite Xpressions on December 24.
Many of the country’s budding talents will go at each other in a battle to settle once and for who reigns supreme when it comes to rap, street dance and slam dunk in Ghana.
The Aviation Social Centre in Accra will be the venue of a specter when thousands gather for witness yet another sizzling episode of Sprite Xpressions this year.
Enthusiasm and expectation have reached fever pitch with many of the high school students guarding their loins for what is expected to be a mind blowing event.
The one-day event will attract many seasoned artistes and famous TV stars who are expected to influence the kids positively. Over 100 schools dotted around the country will participate in the event and draw the usual record crowd to the venue.
The schools will compete in Rap Contest, Street Dance and Slam Dunk Contest among other entertaining package lined up for fans.
Schools such as Accra Academy, St Thomas Aquinas, Labone, Presec-Legon, Accra Girls, Aburi Girls, St Mary’s, Ebenezer, Kinbu, Mfantsipim, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Winneba Senior High, Nungua Senior High, Apam, Aggrey Memorial Zion, Wesley Girls, Opoku Ware, Prempeh College, Sunyani Senior High, Kings College (Kumasi), St Martins, St Peters, Mawuli, Keta Senior and Yaa Asantewaa will all be represented.
Others include Krobo Girls, Oda Senior High, St Louis, Kumasi Anglican, Ofori Panyin, Odorgonno, Tema Senior High, Chemu Senior High, Ghana National College, St Augustines, Abuakwa State College, Adisadel College, Koforidua Secondary Technical School (KSTS), Adonteng, Pope Johns, Awudome, TI Ahmadiyya, Holy Child, Mfantseman Girls, St Roses, St Stephens (Akyem Asiakwa) among others will converge at the venue for the mega showdown.
The winner of the rap competition will get a mouth-watering record deal. The famous Sprite Xpressions which heralds the famous Sprite Ball Championship is expected to reveal the country’s finest talents at the senior high level.
All roads lead to the Aviation Social Centre on Wednesday 24th December, 2014 for the much-awaited Sprite Xpressions expected to rock the capital in every sense of the way. The event starts at 13:00 GMT (1pm local time).
