“Sacrifice Is The Secret Of My Success” Says Guest On Anapua Drive Time Segment
He completed Anglican school (form 4) in 1951 at Kenyasi Number 1. Based on advice from a pastor he joined a company called Corporate Plantation Limited for three years and thereafter went into the education sector where he was a public school teacher for ten (10) years. He then went on to work as Senior Administrative Officer for the Ghana Education Service for another 10 years. Also becoming an Assemblyman for Kenyasi No 1 for an initial four years and subsequently another four years where he went unopposed. His resume includes being a Chairman for the Education Sub-committee and Social Services for 8 years where he helped to assist in recruiting 151 pupil teachers.
With the help of Randy Banks who viewed him as a hardworking person, he was given chance to work with Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd for 8 years {2005 – 2013} before he was affected by a company redundancy program. Currently, he is the Chairman for P.P.P Asutifi North Constituency, the Chairman for Parents Teachers Association at Hwidiem Senior High School and also own a hardware shop.

Reason for Success:
Mr Mensah in his interview attributed his success to making sacrifices. “I didn’t achieved this on a silver platter. My mum died when I was young and I had to struggle with my father to survive. Paying School fees was not easy but with the help of God and the spirit of sacrifice which was in everything I did, it has brought me this far”. “As a Youth, quick money will never get you a good future, so you should take your time” Mr. Osei advised.
