Directed and shot by the famous Will Drey of Flash One Films, the ‘Too sweet’ video went viral soon after its release online.
Currently based in the United States of America, Duke says working as a single artist has given him the impetus to explore more.
“I’ve always wanted to try new things, but being a group restricted me a lot since whatever we put out there must meet the satisfaction of both parties” The former student of Trans Africa University College said.
According to Duke, he has recorded about fourty songs to his name since going solo. “Since I came to the USA, I’ve been able to record about 40 songs which consist of every genre of music you can think of and I’m super excited about it.
He however said that he and his former partner, Genesis have not departed as its been speculated.
“It is a temporary halt, we mutually agreed on, hopefully sooner than later we will bounce back with a banger for the fans, but for now I’ll urge them to patronize anything we both bring across. It’s still D2 you know? he quizzed.
