Goamu Area to get Telecom mast soon says Asutifi North Presiding Member

The Presiding Member (PM) of Asutifi North District in the Brong Ahafo region has today said soon the people of Goamu will soon have opportunity to use their cell phones as expected and as is being used by others elsewhere.

In an exclusive interview with Anapua News Team, HON. Stephen K Baah explained that for the past years the major challenge of the residents is the inability to make calls and receive calls in areas like Kensere, Koforidua, Asamang and many more.

He said there have been talks with MTN who have promised to establish a MAST by the end of the year (2017) or in the early days of next year.

He said once the mast is erected it will go a long way to help the communities including the pupils in terms of ICT related activities.

HON. Baah narrated that as time goes on, other telecommunication companies would be approached to introduce competition.
