Acting in Kumawood Movies is Difficult Than Acting in English Movies- Emelia Brobbey.
Actress and CEO of End Time Films, Emelia Brobbey has revealed that acting in Kumawood movies is far difficult as compared to acting in the Glam movies.
She made this assertion on ‘the Late Night Celebrity’ show on Wednesday evening. Many are of the view that with Kumawood movies, there is no need to even have scripts to the extent of following the script, you just have to know what the story is all about and then act but beautiful Emelia Brobbey disagreed vehemently to this.
When asked by the host that between Kumawood and Glam movies, which is difficult, she said, “Acting in Kumawood movies is far difficult, we have the scripts in English language that you have to translate in Twi and then communicate them effectively.
She added that those Kumawood actors and actress who don’t understand English have managers who speak English and so therefore translate the script to them in Twi and she also added that the directors as well help with the translation.
Emelia has cried in almost all the movies that she has acted, touching on why she likes the crying roles in movies, she said, “Naturally, I’m a soft person, and I think I’ve become used to crying in movies, and more or less movie lovers have associated me with crying because I played crying roles so well.”
The former teacher is a mother two boys and is set to release a new movie from her production house soon.
