APSC products are chemical free

The Project Manager of Asutifi Processing Service Centre (APSC) in the Asutifi District has today said the products produced by the company are free from chemicals and the best for human consumption.

In an interview, Richard Amankwah explained, before the company buys raw materials (pepper and ginger) from the farmers, experts carefully examine them along with the materials undergoing several stages of quality checks before the final products is available on the market.

He narrated that the company which is funded by Newmont AHAFO possess all the requisite certificates as per local guidelines and as such is safe for human consumption.

Mr Amankwah therefore urged Ghanaians especially people in Asutifi North and South to patronize the products in order to sustain it and to create jobs for both the youth and adults.

He also appealed to the youth to engage in planting pepper and ginger as raw materials for the company since currently those in business with the company are aging.
