Chelsea agree 2.5 million euro Essien payoff

Allsports.com.gh understands Chelsea have agreed to pay half of Michael Essien’s 5 million euro yearly salary to facilitate a transfer to AC Milan.

Fabian Piveteau, agent of Michael Essien is in Milan to complete a deal for the Ghana midfielder to join the Rossoneri according to Sky Sports 24.

Essen has been linked with Milan for some time and it looks like new boss Clarence Seedorf has green lighted a deal for the out of favour Chelsea midfielder.

Milan are in desperate for bargain midfield replacements as they face a Champions League match up against in form Atletico Madrid without Ricardo Montolivo and Sulley Muntari.
