Honourable Jerry (Ahafo NPP Regional Chairman) passes away in tragic accident!

The Asutifi District was thrown into a state of shock and grief over the weekend when news emerged of the demise of their popular native son and NPP Ahafo Regional Chairman, Francis Opoku Sarfo (widely known as “Honourable Jerry”)

According to police reports Honourable Jerry is reported to have been in the company of his wife and three other occupants in his Toyota Landcruiser V8 returning to Kenyasi when it went off the road and flipped over. Jerry and one Salifu Musah (Sankus) perished at the scene near Achenserua. His wife and the other occupants were rushed to Komfo Ankoye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi for treatment. The accident occurred on Saturday the 6th of July.
