Akofa, known for her long career in the movie industry speaking about scripts and her absence revealed:
“I don’t get a lot of good scripts lately and that’s why movie fans don’t see me in many productions. But I have shot a series titled Hunger House, which will be premiering soon, I have also starred in Lydia Forson’s A Letter from Adam which is out now and Pieces of Me which I understand will be premiering soon.”
Akofa thinks the youth should know they have the ability and capacity to achieve whatever it is they are dreaming about:
“They have the creativity and should believe in themselves. It’s not enough to just believe in God and not believe in yourself. You can believe in God all you want; if you don’t believe in yourself, nothing can ever be achieved. We can do whatever it is we want but I think we should remember that when you put God not in the middle but in the fore front of what you do, then you can succeed.”
The actress known for portraying her African looks whenever possible touched on the new African look trending around the world saying;
“It’s good the younger generation have begun keeping their hair really short and natural because the chemicals in these hair care products are not good for our body. We are just making other countries rich by buying into all these products. But it’s an individual thing and choice but I’m always looking out for made in Ghana products to patronize.”
