FOLLOWING his outstanding achievements in the gospel music industry in Ghana for some years now, the awarding-winning Ghanaian gospel music icon, Superintendent Kofi Sarpong, also known in the music scene as DSP Kofi Sarpong, has disclosed to the BEATWAVES that all is indeed set for him to host his maiden gospel musical concert in September this year.
In a chat with the BEATWAVES in his office in Accra, DSP Sarpong pointed out that the concert would be organised to thank God and his fans for supporting him throughout his gospel musical career, to celebrate his achievement in the music industry as well as to also raise funds to support his foundation.
According to him, the concert is expected to attract a large number of personalities including music lovers from all walks of life to celebrate genuine Ghanaian gospel music.
Kofi Sarpong, who has consistently maintained his reputation as one of the most celebrated gospel musicians in Ghana and beyond further disclosed that the concert would also be used to launch his much-awaited third album produced by Media Excel Productions.

On his part, Kofi Sarpong’s manager and producer, Ernest Kwasi Ennin, told the BEATWAVES, “Kofi’s had dream always been that of promoting Christ through music, and his concert is indeed in response to the demand from his numerous fans who have witnessed his stage performances so many times.”
