Nigeria Hosts Miss Kenya, Ghana & Russia
Coming to Nigeria for the very first time, the Exquisite Face of The Universe World Finals 2013 promises to be one of the best events to hold on the country’s landscape this year.
At the launch event anchored by ace comedian Tee A on the Island, Miss Ghana, Miss Kenya and Miss Russia were on ground to give the country a taste of beauties that will flood the country during the grand finale of the pageant.
And of course, the beauties took turn to assure that Miss Ethel Okosun, who is the host of the pageant, will not regret bringing the pageant to Nigeria.
The event slated to hold in November at the Eko Hotel and Suite, is driven towards showcasing tourism and the various cultures of the world.
In November, 50 contestants from 50 countries of the world will be storming Lagos to slug it out, for who’ll wear the crown for the next one year.
Representing Arik Air, Mr Trevor assures that the company who has been in support of tourism in the country for years now, will do all it takes to ensure safety of everyone who’ll be flying in and out of the country during the event.
Nissan Nigeria’s representative, Mr Amit Sharma who is also the Head-Sales and Marketing, says the company is proud to be part of the event and will keep lending its support to positive projects in the country.
The late Sony Okosun’s daughter, Ehtel Okosun, who happens to be the lucky champ behind how the hosting franchise was given to Nigeria, expressed her joy upon being granted the opportunity to hold the grand event in the country.
In her words: “It’s an honour to have been granted the hosting right of the grand finale of the Exquisite Face of The Universe World. I feel excited because this will be the first time the pageant will come to Nigeria and all is being put in place to ensure its success. The pageant holding in the country will allow Nigeria to be seen in a new light by the rest of the world.”
