A 23 year old Banking and Finance student, Nii Tackie Laryea, has been chosen out of four finalists as Mr World Ghana.
The announcement is line with the organization’s earlier decision to announce a winner by May 7, ahead of the World finals in the United Kingdom on June 15.
The days leading up to today’s announcement saw the auditioned contestants later whittled down to 5 finalists. To kick off what would be a yearly activity, auditions were held in Accra on April 26 after which contestants took part series of elimination events to determine a winner.
Nii tentatively leaves Accra by May ending ahead of the June 15 finals. Inna Maryam Patty, CEO, Exclusive Events Ghana says, “After days of searching, we finally have the pleasure of announcing a winner.
“The judges have done a good job of choosing a candidate they feel can best represent Ghana.”Mr World Ghana is a franchise owned by Exclusive Events Ghana Limited, who are also organizers of the Miss Ghana pageant.
