Open Letter To Funny Face
My closest friend is a huge fan of you. He’s always amused to see you perform. It’s no surprise you are one of the popular comedians in Ghana today.
I was saddened by the turn of events at last night’s UCL final played at Lisbon. I least expected the game to end the way it did. The game of football can sometimes be so unfair. Seriously! I later decided to take solace in TV3?s entertainment programme, MusicMusic. It was soothing to see you on my tv. The mere sight of you did put smiles on my miserable face. In fact, you are a comic genius.
I need no prophet to tell me you are a down to earth person, very creative in amusing acts and even music. Who ever thought you could make good music with ‘Aponkye, Akonfem, Akoko, Tilapia and even Dabodabo’.
Honestly, your animal songs can rub shoulders with some nominated for awards at the VGMA held some few weeks back. I hear you see yourself artiste of the year come VGMA 2015. Hmm! That’s not far from reach anyway.
We love your ‘senseless animal’ songs and no other. Your new single, Odo, featuring Castro ‘sucks’! Keep doing more of the animal songs as that fits perfectly in your chosen line entertaining your fans. And hey, I promise you those animal songs can forever place food on your table should you retire from your comedy profession.
I would love to see you feature Guru or Sarkodie on those tracks. These guys are lyrically talented you know.
Stick to your animal songs and keep us entertained. Akoko…. Hahaa!
