The crowd stream out fast. Wonderful night it has been. But if you want a free bus home, you have to be quick.

The show has ended as sudden as applying brakes on the N1 Highway. Every Praise caps a four hour night of praise and worship.

Oh My God! Oh My God! The Perez Dome is absolutely vibrating to the most expectant gospel track – Every Praise. It is the loudest, most violent blasting of music, instruments and shouting.

The early bird catches the ‘Hezekiah Walker practice’. The Love Fellowship Choir is rehearsing a few lines and its promising and professional. The concrete walls here echo the songs, you can feel the sound of praise under your feet.

Walls, pillars and concrete gently vibrate in strong agreement that this night is God’s night.

The Perez Dome is 30% full. But it is only a matter of time. Great numbers need clearance from the security post to enter the Dome dominated by Red, White colours of the title sponsor.

Fathers are leading family packs into the Dome and sure enough the audience is likely to be heavy percentage of women. Women? What will God do without them. They are all over place. This is their El-Classico.

The seating arrangement here has all the signs of a venue expected to overflow. Neat rows arch inside the Perez Dome – and sweet scent of perfume – predominately feminine – linger between the seats.
