Popular Nollywood actor-cum-director, Desmond Olusola Elliot has emerged candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Lagos State House of Assembly election in 2015. The handsome actor, who has paid his dues in the movie industry since making his first appearance in the industry some years ago, will represent the people of Surulere in the House. He got the ticket at the expense of the incumbent and two-term member of the House, Kabiru Lawal. This, we learnt, caused tension in the region during the primaries.
