Leila, who released a new movie, And Then There Was You, in February, is currently working on the release of a new feature movie titled, Where Children Play, which is expected to be shot in locations in Savannah, Georgia.
An award winning film-maker, Leila, shot to fame in Africa when her movie, Sinking Sands, earned her many awards, including the Best Actress Awards in AMAA 2011.
Her work and contribution to the Ghana Film Industry has been recognised by UNiFEM Ghana and The African Women Development Fund.
