Arsene Wenger has warned his player Jack Wilshere of his behavior speaking ahead of Arsenal’s game against West Bromich Albion at the weekend.
The England international was pictured smoking a cigarette in a national newspaper in the early hours of Thursday morning and Wenger who has always branded players as role models in the society cited his disapproval of his midfielder’s behavior.
Wenger said:
“I disagree with that behavior. You are an example as a football player. You damage your reputation if you do it out socially. I don’t know what happened.”
Arsenal will be wary of West Bromich Albion in their away fixture this weekend after the home side beat Manchester United at Old Trafford last weekend.
